Summer Solstice Gong Song- Wednesday, June 20, 2018
The Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, coaxes us to expand and flourish. In this season of love made manifest, we are to bring all we were meant to be out into the sun! The beautiful sounds and mysterious vibrations of the Gong Song are the perfect catalyst for this transformation.
Join Jamie White as she intuitively creates a sanctuary of healing vibrations with her collection of Gongs, Singing Bowls and bells. As the sounds resonate around and through your body, you will enter a deeply relaxed state–this is where all aspects of your being come into Divine Harmony.
The evening will begin with a few gentle stretches, deep breathing and setting an intention that is right for you. You will comfortably settle into your mat as the Gong Song helps you to experience what wants to unfold. A gentle return completes this magical journey!
To ensure your comfort, please bring a soft mat, blanket and pillow!

Riding on the Waves of Sound! Full Moon June 28, 2018
The Full Moon in June occurs at the beginning of the astrological sign of Cancer. The crab, walking sideways with its home on its back, is emblematic of home, family, intuitive channels and non-linear thinking. Like the crab, come dive deeply into the depths of your inner knowing, riding on the sound waves of Gongs and Singing Bowls. The vibrations of these ancient instruments help you to release your attachments to the constant chatter of the mind and slip into the watery world of intuition and connection to the Divine!
This will be the first Full Moon and Gong Journey in Yoga Deza’s new home!! I hope you will join me in creating a Sacred Space with the Gongs and other sonic instruments, where we can dive into the ocean of infinite possibilities!
We will begin the session with deep breathing, gentle stretches and setting an intention that is right for you. Then you will comfortably settle into your mat as the Gong Song helps you to experience what wants to unfold. A gentle return completes this magical evening!

Blessings and Namaste,
Jamie White, Gong Goddess
Since the beginning of time, the full moon has had a subtle yet profound influence on the environment and our lives. Similarly, the gong, one of our oldest and most powerful transformational instruments, has been used for ritual, ceremony, prayer, and meditation since the Bronze Age. Come find out what alchemy occurs for you when the good vibrations of the gongs are experienced during the expansive full moon! Wowza!!!
We will begin our candlelit journey with deep breathing, gentle stretches, and setting an intention that seems right for you. May is the Flower Full Moon–what do you want to see bloom in your life? Next, you will snuggle down onto your mat with your favorite pillow and blanket. For the next 50 minutes you will be transported on a healing journey as the beautiful, otherworldly vibrations of the gongs, singing bowls and bells completely surround and infuse you. A gentle return will complete this magical evening!
Call Yoga Deza to reserve your spot, 479-935-9647.
I look forward to sharing this experience with you!
Blessings and namaste,
Grammy Award-winning ensemble, Third Coast Percussion, returns to Northwest Arkansas to perform John Luther Adams’s expansive work Inuksuit, as part of Walton Arts Center’s Artosphere: Art & Nature Festival. The title refers to the Stonehenge like structures in the Artic that the Inuit people used as markers to navigate their space. Inspired by the stones, Adams composed rhythmic layers within his work to represent the structures. The New York Times calls Inuksuit “the ultimate environmental piece,” making it a fitting community performance for Artosphere. Experience this free performance at the Botanical Gardens, Fayetteville, AR., Friday, May 19, 6:00 pm!
