Monthly Full Moon & Gongs!

Since the beginning of time, the full moon has had a subtle yet profound influence on the environment and our lives. Similarly, the Gong, one of our oldest and most powerful transformational instruments, has been used for ritual, ceremony, prayer, and meditation since the Bronze Age. Come find out what alchemy occurs for you when the good vibrations of the gongs are experienced during the expansive full moon! Wowza!!!
September is the time to harvest corn, one of humans most treasured plants, hence the name the “Corn Full Moon”. It has always been a great source of nutrition as well as providing medicine. It is closely related to the sun with it’s golden, sun kissed hue. Corn is associated with health, protection, good fortune, and the Earth Goddess. What are you ready to honor and harvest?
We will begin our candlelight journey with deep breathing, gentle stretches, and setting an intention that seems right for you. Next, you will settle into your mat and for the next 50 minutes you will be transported on a healing journey as the beautiful, otherworldly vibrations of the gongs, singing bowls and bells completely surround and infuse you. A gentle return will complete this magical evening!

Come join us for a truly unique sonic experience and drink up the inspiration!

Weekly Gong Song: Portals

Ancient doorways, or portals, have always stirred my imagination. Who has traveled through them and what is there to discover on the other side?
We each have our own inner portal that can take us to places that access our soul’s deepest knowing. We enter these portals not with the thinking, ordinary mind, but rather through altered states of consciousness–a state of mind that speaks a different language than that of thought. Participating in a Gong Song Journey is an effective way to reach these non-ordinary states of consciousness. As we bathe in the sacred and powerful vibrations of the gongs, singing bowls and bells, our consciousness is shifted into a place of healing and wholeness.
Join me and my round friends this Wednesday, August 23, to explore where your inner portal leads you. Choose either 6:00-7:00 or 7:30-8:30 at the Little Blue House, 216 W. South St., Fayetteville. Mats are provided, and to insure your comfort bring a pillow and blanket. Donations are appreciated. Call or text to reserve your spot, 479-521-3123.

Weekly Gong Meditations: Waves

Make waves. Receive waves. Soften your edges. Release fear and tension and return to your natural state of peace and love.
Although most people can’t see the waves created by the gongs and singing bowls, everyone can feel them, down to their bones. Come join me and my Sonic ensemble this Wednesday, August 16, to experience the shift in consciousness that occurs when being bathed in an ocean of sound waves. Leave floating on waves of joy.
Choose a session at either 6:00-7:00 or 7:30-8:30 at the Little Blue House, 216 W. South St., Fayetteville. Mats are provided, and to insure your comfort bring a pillow and blanket. Donations are appreciated.
