Gong Song of Joy

Gong Song of Joy!  As spring is bursting forth, so can the Joy in our hearts!

Please join me, Jamie White, as I create an ocean of celestial sounds and vibrations from the gongs, singing bowls, bells and other instruments.  They will transport us to a deep inner stillness, loosening what binds us and no longer serves our highest good.  The intention of this Gong Song is to feel the energy of our hearts flowing and spiraling out so we may more fully experience the pure Joy of Life!

We will be meeting in the beautiful yoga space at Day by Day Healing Center DaybyDayHealing.com

This is a lay out event, and so in order to be comfortable and totally relaxed, please bring a mat, pillow and blanket and wear warm comfy clothes.  There are chairs available if you prefer not to stretch out on the floor (please let Jamie know in advance). Also bring your water bottle and a notebook/journal if you want to track the shifts in your experience.

COMING SOON!

Last year was a busy one for me, after returning from India I moved from my house in town to one Joe built for us in the country. As a result, I didn’t have the time or mental space to offer Gong Song Meditations.

Now, 2020, I’m once again back from India and ready to share the wonder and joy of Singing Bowls and Gongs!!! I gathered all of the 31 Singing Bowls I’ve collected over the years and made groups that “play well together”. I’m soooooo excited!

My first offering is in the works for mid March—be on the lookout for details coming soon!

Blessings and Namasté,

Jamie White

Moving to the Other Side: Kundalini yoga, Chanting and Gong Song’

I am sooooo excited to be collaborating with Jimmye Whitfield again! Come join us for a life changing experience with Kundalini Yoga, chanting and a Gong Song.

Would you like to break away from patterns from the past that no longer serve you? It’s easy to move to a higher frequency using breath, movement and sound!

Jimmye, in her loving and skillfull way, will lead a Kriya set, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. This set is designed to be a total tune-up, an inner awakening, as you move your body and breath together.

The chant will be the Kirtan Kryia, and is the one Yogi Bhajan said would carry us through the Aquarian Age! “Saa Taa Naa Maa” is powerful!

The session will wind down as Jamie creates a cocoon of sacred sound currents with her ensemble of Gongs, Singing Bowls and Bells. As you settle onto your mat and drop into deep relaxation, you will experience the grace of Higher Intelligence, integrating the shifts that occurred during this afternoon of oneness!

July Thunder Full Moon & Gongs

As a child growing up in eastern North Carolina, I quickly developed a love of thunderstorms. The rumble that would shake my very bones, followed up by a cleansing rain, gave me a sense of excitement and peace all at once. Perhaps it’s this early experience with “the rumble” that caused me to fall so deeply in love with the Gong Song. Just as thunderstorms can clear the air and bring vibrancy to our world, being bathed in the rumble of gongs and singing bowls can rejuvenate our spirits and help new illuminations arise.

To celebrate this July’s Thunder Full Moon we will begin the Journey with deep breathing, gentle stretches and setting your intentions. Then you will snuggle comfortably on your mat and let the otherworldly sounds of the gongs create a sacred space that allows you to explore your inner world. A gentle return will complete this magical evening.

Come join us for a truly unique sonic experience and drink up the inspiration!

Thank You and Goodbye!

The Full Moon in March, in all her radiance, reminds us that all of life is ever changing. And so it is with Yoga Deza also! Come join me, Jamie White, and my ensemble of Gongs and Singing Bowls as we say goodbye to the sweet space that has nurtured us in so many ways. The intention will be to say “thank you and goodbye” to all that we wish to release, and to welcome with an open heart all the new opportunities that are coming our way.

You may wonder how can the Gongs and Singing Bowls help facilitate this? The beautiful sounds and multi-tonal vibrations alter our consciousness into being in a more relaxed state. There we can access the Divine Wisdom that is at the core of our being in that still, peaceful place. The good vibrations also help loosen up stuck energy and create more space in our bodies and energy fields.

This will be the last event in the Sycamore location and will be the perfect way to say goodbye & prepare for the next Full Moon celebration in the new studio!

We will begin the evening with deep breathing, gentle stretches and setting an intention that is right for you. Then you will comfortably settle into your mat as the Gong Song helps you to experience what wants to unfold. A gentle return completes this magical journey!
