My Ever Unfolding Life

Hi Sweet Gong Song Fans:

During the last Gong Song in October, I said I would be back in November. Well, that didn’t happen!!!

While I was on a wonderful family reunion/vacation, I severely tore some rotator cuff muscles in my already injured shoulder. Upon returning home, seeing doctors and having multiple scans, the best option for a long term healthy shoulder is to have a Reverse Shoulder Replacement. That will happen next week.

The recovery process is a slow, long journey. I’m actually looking forward to having the time to rest and dive deeper into my explorations with sound healing! There are books I want to finish, and some on-line courses I’ve signed up for. I anticipate that in a few months my shoulder will be out of pain and working smoothly. My gongs and singing bowls (and other fun instruments) will be a part of my healing, and my understanding and appreciation for them will be deepened.

Hopefully by mid to late spring I will resume offering private Sound sessions, as well as small group sessions. You will be the first to know when this happens!

Meanwhile, enjoy the holidays, however that takes shape for you. Remember to breathe deeply often. Take time to ground yourself by spending time in Nature, and take a little journey to the Cosmos! ✨

Thank you, bless you, Namaste 🙏🏼

Remembering Our Ancestors: A Journey to the Unseen Realms

It is said that this time of year, around Halloween/All Souls Day, the veil between the worlds of the living and those who have crossed over grows thin, allowing our ancestors to cross back into this realm, and us to cross over to theirs.

On October 29 join Jamie White in an unforgettable Gong Song Sound Journey that is intended to create a spiritual bridge to experience our connection to the spirit world.

You’ll be bathed in the powerful vibrations of large gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, hand-hammered triangles, and other rare instruments that create a multidimensional soundscape. This isn’t just a sound bath — it’s a soul-deep journey.

The journey will begin with mindful breathing and a guided meditation designed to help your body settle and your mind go to that expansive, meditative state. In that calm, open place we can perceive the unseen realms. As the waves of sound move around you and through you, you may receive clarity, comfort, and deep peace. Some people have said they felt the presence of their loved ones, others have had sweet memories bubble up.

What to bring:

  • Yoga mat or other portable mat
  • Blanket
  • Pillow
  • Whatever you need to feel comfortable & cozy!

Coming Tuesday—5 Gongs & a Labyrinth

The Earth is You. You are the Earth.
When you realize there is no separation, you fall completely in love with this beautiful planet!
Thich Nhat Hahn

Earth Day Celebration Labyrinth Walk & Gong Song
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 224 N East Ave., Fayetteville, AR
Tuesday, April 22, 2025
5:30 – 7:30 pm

We often forget that the planet we are living on has given us all the elements that make up our bodies. The water in our flesh, our bones and all the microscopic cells inside our bodies all come from the earth and are part of the earth. The earth is not just the environment we live in. We are the earth and we are always carrying her within us.

As we mindfully walk on the labyrinth we can send our love to our Mother Earth with every step. How do we do this? There are many ways. When we practice beautifully walking the path, we massage the earth with our feet and plant seeds of joy with each step. We can visualize flowers blooming under each step the moment our foot touches the ground leaving behind beautiful fields of flowers everywhere we walk. Imagine kissing the earth with your feet. The possibilities are endless!!

To further enhance the experience, you will be walking among the the mysterious sounds and vibrations of Gongs, Singing Bowls and other mystical instruments. This is a great visceral reminder that everything in the universe is vibrating and the vibrations we send out affect the whole.

Sending this blessing in community reminds us of our powerful connection to each other and to the earth. Even though the labyrinth at St. Paul’s is indoors, we can still feel the connection to the earth beneath the floor. I hope you will join us on this special day!

Come to the Parish Hall between 5:30 and 7:00 pm. Being fashionably late will help create a more spacious walk. It takes about 30 minutes to complete the walk. Chairs will be available for you to sit and enjoy.

Blessings,
Jamie

Save the date & the Big Kahuna

Please save Tuesday, April 22, 2025, for the Earth Day Labyrinth and Gong Song!!!
It will be at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church from 5:30 – 7:30pm. More details soon.

THE BIG NEWS 🥁 is I will be bringing my 40” gong I affectionately call the ”Big Kahuna”! I recently purchased a portable stand for it, so now the Big Kahuna can join in the soundscape! (I will still be bringing the other 4 gongs you have seen/heard/felt before.)

Thich Nhat Hahn said, “When we practice walking meditation beautifully, we massage the earth with our feet and plant seeds of joy and happiness with each step.” I hope to see you on the Path of the Labyrinth!

Blessings,
Jamie

Thank You 🙏🏼

I appreciate everyone who came to St. Paul’s tonight to walk the Labyrinth and enjoy the sounds and vibrations of the Gongs and Singing Bowls.

I look forward to gathering again soon!

Blessings and Namaste
