Coming Tuesday—5 Gongs & a Labyrinth

The Earth is You. You are the Earth.
When you realize there is no separation, you fall completely in love with this beautiful planet!

Earth Day Celebration Labyrinth Walk & Gong Song
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 224 N East Ave., Fayetteville, AR
Tuesday, April 22, 2025
5:30 – 7:30 pm

We often forget that the planet we are living on has given us all the elements that make up our bodies. The water in our flesh, our bones and all the microscopic cells inside our bodies all come from the earth and are part of the earth. The earth is not just the environment we live in. We are the earth and we are always carrying her within us.

As we mindfully walk on the labyrinth we can send our love to our Mother Earth with every step. How do we do this? There are many ways. When we practice beautifully walking the path, we massage the earth with our feet and plant seeds of joy with each step. We can visualize flowers blooming under each step the moment our foot touches the ground leaving behind beautiful fields of flowers everywhere we walk. Imagine kissing the earth with your feet. The possibilities are endless!!

To further enhance the experience, you will be walking among the the mysterious sounds and vibrations of Gongs, Singing Bowls and other mystical instruments. This is a great visceral reminder that everything in the universe is vibrating and the vibrations we send out affect the whole.

Sending this blessing in community reminds us of our powerful connection to each other and to the earth. Even though the labyrinth at St. Paul’s is indoors, we can still feel the connection to the earth beneath the floor. I hope you will join us on this special day!

Come to the Parish Hall between 5:30 and 7:00 pm. Being fashionably late will help create a more spacious walk. It takes about 30 minutes to complete the walk. Chairs will be available for you to sit and enjoy.

Blessings,
Jamie

New Gong & Workshop

A few days ago I went to Memphis to attend a Sound Mediation with Mike Tamburo. It was amazing!!!

The next day I had a private Sound Journey with Nancy Pettit, co-owner of the Memphis Drum Shop & Gong Chamber. That was amazing too!!!

Then, I was taken on a magical shopping trip in the Gong Chamber with Jim Pettit, the other co-owner. I choose a 34” Paiste Symphonic gong that sounds wonderful with my 32” Wind gong that you are so familiar with.

This Saturday, 11/11, I will debut the new gong along with my other gongs, singing bowls, bells etc. at the Arkansas Yoga Center, Kundalini Yoga and Gong Song workshop. There are only 2 spots left, so if you’re interested please sign up soon!

I hope to see you soon and share our good vibrations!

Blessings and Namasté.

Only 9 More Days!

Kundalini Yoga

Jimmye Whitfield

Gong Song

Jamie White

We’re back!!! Jimmye Whitfield and Jamie White are collaborating once again for an afternoon of Kundalini Yoga and Gong Song at Arkansas Yoga Center! You will be giving yourself a great gift of setting aside time for yourself and listening to the rhythm of your breath.

“We must learn to meditate on our Breath. Breath is God in us. Breath is Life in us. Breath is us”. Yogi Bhajan

The first hour Jimmye will lead you on an exploration of mantras, mudras, postures and gazes together with the rise and fall of the breath. There’s so much magic in the simple act of just focusing on the inhalation and exhalation of breathing. This practice of awareness brings a sense of inner clarity calmness, elevation, joy and gratitude. It is always available to you and only requires you to slow down and do it—any time and anywhere. And it’s fun!

The second hour Jamie will lead you into deep stillness and peace with her Gongs, Singing Bowls, Bells and more. The ethereal sounds and vibrations will surround you and infuse you, helping to further expand your ability to breathe deeply and drop into a place of profound calmness. It is in this calm place that the wisdom of your “still, small voice” can arise and lead to insights and ah-ha moments. A gentle return (and chocolate!) will complete this magical afternoon.

Gong Song as a Portal

At the end of the Gong Song sessions, so many people have commented on how they felt the sounds and vibrations created a Portal that carried them to other dimensions. These have been safe places offering refuge and deep insights.

I’m Jamie White, and I would love for you to join me in the August Gong Song. The celestial sounds of the Gongs, Singing Bowls, Bells and other instruments will swirl around you and through you, helping you reach states of deep relaxation. In this relaxed state, free from the usual chatty mind, you can release physical tensions and have those wonderful “aha” moments!

We will begin our journey with deep breathing, setting an intention that is right for you and a guided meditation. As you settle into your mat, you will be transported on a healing journey. A gentle return (and chocolate!) will complete this magical hour!

Gong Song of Joy

Gong Song of Joy!  As spring is bursting forth, so can the Joy in our hearts!

Please join me, Jamie White, as I create an ocean of celestial sounds and vibrations from the gongs, singing bowls, bells and other instruments.  They will transport us to a deep inner stillness, loosening what binds us and no longer serves our highest good.  The intention of this Gong Song is to feel the energy of our hearts flowing and spiraling out so we may more fully experience the pure Joy of Life!

We will be meeting in the beautiful yoga space at Day by Day Healing Center DaybyDayHealing.com

This is a lay out event, and so in order to be comfortable and totally relaxed, please bring a mat, pillow and blanket and wear warm comfy clothes.  There are chairs available if you prefer not to stretch out on the floor (please let Jamie know in advance). Also bring your water bottle and a notebook/journal if you want to track the shifts in your experience.
